5th Annual Back to School Peace & Unity Festival

Our objective is to provide a peaceful gathering of all students in the Frayser area for a community. The festival will consist of a day of free fun, entertainment, food, fellowship, and teaching for our students and parents. School Administration and Teachers from all Frayser schools will be on hand to fellowship with students and parents. Free school supplies will only be given to students.

3rd Annual Offender Workforce Development Roundtable

The 3R Project, Shelby County Division of Corrections, (an Operation Safe Community collaboration with Mayor A C Wharton), will host their 3rd Annual Offender Workforce Development Roundtable. Representatives of various agencies will hold discussions to educate and encourage the public to employ ex-offenders. Topics included are the benefits of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, Federal Bonding and much more.
